The Final Adventure

After a slow morning, myself and my fiancée Miss Sammy set out to Chelmsford. Why? I hear you ask. Well, no less than two weeks prior Mr Christopher Thomson of Teenz Inc asked me to participate in a Doctor Who fan film he had scripted. After careful consideration, organising an adequate date, script editing his script like C.H. Bidmead and insisting my gorgeous partner Miss Sammy be included I accepted his offer to play the villain Denton – who is soon to be revealed as a much older enemy of the Doctor and who isn’t THE MASTER.

While not too far away, we arrived safely and met several of Chris’ friends, Ryan, Tim, David and Nick, a crazy but young bunch of lads, we set off to get filming. We started in the abandoned bunker which in fact was the local Scout hut (of which not too far away was the 40,000 scouts camping for some strange reason, I insisted we break in and nick their tent pegs but no one agreed.) where all of the abandoned bunker scenes were recorded. We took a short break at Chris’ house and met his parents and his little brother Adam - I didn’t realise 4 year olds’ could talk so much! We previewed some of ‘The Final Adventure’ and I have to say it is a vast improvement over the other Chris Thomson fan films, very high production values and looks superb! Filming continued at an abandoned, or is it still used, car park where my character... er... I can't tell you sorry! But the scenes did involve gravel, a plastic gun and a metal ball. And that pretty much wrapped the day off. At the end a brilliant cup of tea courtesy of Mrs Thomson and a trip back home. Pleasure to meet you Chris old chap, look forward to when we record the final office sequences soon.
