Two Doctors, Two Companions and a Genie

No, not quite a new audio adventure (but now that I've mentioned it... *writes it down*) we joined up with Doctor #noidea poche Mr Chambers as we gave Birmingham a visit to see the panto 'Aladdin' starring none other than Captain Jack aka John Barrowman from TV's 'Doctor Who' and 'Torchwood'.

A fantastic production of which you can tell everyone enjoyed it, audience and performers. John was fantastic as ususal in his American kind of way. Lots of jokes, lots of fun, an apperance by the Daleks and even a few gay nods for John... oh dear.

So we did the usual fan thing and harrassed him at the stage door... or what looked like the stage door... and we realised he isn't as tall as he looks on Torchwood or Doctor Who. He's my height! I bet next Doctor Mr Chambers was pleased he could intimidate Captain Jack for once! Which means, other members of Torchwood must be very very tiny people... oh dear oh dear.

Happy Birthday Mr Thomson

Yes, happy birthday little friend, it is your birthday.

Today we visited Mr Thomson on his 17th Birthday bringing you none other than a fantastic card made by Mrs Nagel, the Doctor Who Story Book 2007 and a dalek money box for all the coppers you find around the house.

Cue lots of exotic food, Chris' friends and family and a moment to play on the Wii... what an *interesting* experience, all be it demonstrated by Chris' little brother Adam.

And curse cats with muddy paws.

Happy Birthday Mr Thomson

But then we had to say goodbye to Mr Toman as he returned to his real life down under, twas a pleasure to meet you Mr Toman and I hope we can return the visit to you one day... on our honeymoon or something... or any other excuse we can make to visit our cousins on the opposite side of the planet.

Aron in London

Yes, you read that right, our friend downunder Mr Toman of Crossover Adventures fame came to visit London on his dream trip to see our capital and see as many West End shows as feasibly possible. We joined Mr Toman for the day in London to see the sights, eat the food, and generally have a good time. We visited the Earl's Court TARDIS (after much searching - should have brought my TARDIS locator) and visited the shops, the cafes and soon found ourselves in the seats of Prince Edward Theatre on the West End (alittle way from Spamalot is playing with Peter Davison) and watched the marvellous production of Mary Poppins. A brilliant production, worth seeing again if it wasn't ending soon... ah well.

Twas a pleaseure to meet Mr Toman for the first time next to chatting on MSN or hearing each others voices for our audio productions. We look forward to seeing him again... oh wait we did...

Here are some snaps
